![]() I was impressed with the crowds, they were respectful, orderly and I felt safe. After the game the streets were blocked off to allow us to all leave and walk back to town. Was a bit terrifying and we felt removed from all the action being so high up, but being the first time to the stadium it was neat to sit and observe everything. We had seats VERY high up (almost at the top). When we enquired as to how much it would cost we were pleasantly surprised to be told it was free! The first view entering the stadium is awesome if you haven't been to a big stadium before! We were impressed at how well laid out it was and how on every level there are multiple eatery and drinks options. On our way to the stadium we saw a bus that was going to Suncorp and decided to hop on. ![]() We went to a local NRL game and were told it was a "short stroll" from where we were staying (it wasn't). Its actually a matter of architecture due mostly to its cramped position at Milton which is my real reason for writing, The limited space helped to increase the stadium seating angle which and I have heard it said many times "you can sit anywhere mate and see everything". Amenities (clean and well maintained) and catering are stadium standard and they get you across the line, I would bring a few extra dollars for food, mid strength beer and spirits are between $7 and $10. ![]() Arrivals and departures for the crowds are effortless thanks to the the extremely well thoughtout bus and train facilties (ticket price includes transport in most cases) the best I have done so far is 15 mins from game end to sitting on a bus bound for the southside of Brisbane. I have seen just almost every international sport played at Suncorp and I have never been disappointed. Its hard enough to describe 53,000 thousand people cheering but then take them and put them into the "Cauldron", as its affectionately known, and it will be seared into your memory banks for a long long time. ![]()
